We seldom think of the beautiful Clematis Montana as well. This is probably the most vigorous of the clematis. It will grow over walls, trees and along the ground and flowers from April to September. This chapter is studded with both fascinating and useful facts ranging from who discovered the original specimens to tips about cultivation. The book is lavishly illustrated with pictures of montanas as well as useful, practical diagrams showing how particular tasks should be done. If you love clematis, you'll want to read this book because it has obviously been written by a man with a passion for the subject.
